Area ME14 / ME17
Camera installation from Bearsted to the foot of the Downs.
The north and east of Maidstone runs from Penenden Heath and Bearsted out past Boxley and Detling to Hollingbourne and Leeds beneath the North Downs. Houses here are larger and more spread out, so we tend to fit longer-range cameras, floodlights and mesh Wi-Fi rather than single doorbells.

Bearsted and Penenden Heath
Bearsted is a village on the edge of town, built around its green, and Penenden Heath lies to the north of the centre. Both are mostly established family housing: semis, detached houses and bungalows with front drives.
Floodlight cameras over the drive and a doorbell on the front door cover the typical house. Side gates and rear gardens benefit from a second camera, and we aim them away from the shared fences common in these streets.
Boxley, Detling and Thurnham
Boxley has its abbey ruins and church at the foot of the Downs, and Detling is home to the Kent County Showground. Thurnham has its castle ruins on the escarpment above. The area is rural, with older stone-built houses mixed with newer closes.
Wi-Fi is the problem rather than power: a ragstone cottage with thick walls will not carry a signal to the garden. A mesh node placed on a window sill, or a cabled camera, solves it. We also fit 4G cameras at field gates and paddock entrances.
Hollingbourne, Harrietsham and Leeds
Along the A20 and below the Downs, these villages (ME17) include period houses with long gardens and farm buildings. Leeds is best known for its castle, and short-let demand is steady along this stretch.
For holiday lets and second homes, exterior-only cameras and changeover alerts are the common request. Our holiday-let page explains how we keep guests' private space private.
Common questions
Do you cover Bearsted and Boxley as standard?
Yes. They are part of the normal Maidstone round, quoted as a standard job.
Do you work on listed or period homes?
We fit cameras and doorbells to period houses all the time, using fixings chosen to avoid damage, but listed-building consent is the owner's responsibility if it applies.
