Service
Wired CCTV with a recorder you own.
Power over Ethernet cameras take both power and data down one cable to a recorder (NVR) kept on site, which makes them the steadiest choice for shops, offices and bigger homes. We plan the cable routes, set up viewing on your phone and test every camera before we go.
What is included
- Cable routes planned and hidden or ducted wherever practical
- NVR positioned, configured and connected for remote viewing
- Each camera focused and checked on the live feed before we leave
- Access levels set up for staff or family on the viewing app
- Optional local AI detection hub, priced separately
- Clean finish: holes sealed, tidy trunking, rubbish removed

Town-centre units, offices and larger homes
Retail and office units around the town centre often have a rear service yard, a shared stairwell and a landlord to consider. We survey with those in mind, and keep camera views to the business's own frontage and yard. Larger homes on the edge of town suit a cabled system because a single cable reaches far beyond what Wi-Fi can.
In solid stone and thick brick, a cable beats a wireless signal every time. The lead time is the route, so we walk it with you at the survey and show where the cable will run before a quote is agreed.
One contractor, start to finish
We are qualified electricians as well as installers. If a doorbell, floodlight or camera needs a new supply instead of an existing one, we run it ourselves in the same visit, with no second contractor.

Questions
Is PoE better than wireless?
For permanence and reliability, usually yes. The trade-off is installation effort, which is why we plan the cable run at survey. Our guides cover the trade-offs.
Where is the footage stored?
On the recorder at your property, which you own. We set up remote viewing but do not hold your footage.
