Loose, Linton and Boughton Monchelsea
Loose sits in a small stream valley with a long history of mills, and Linton and Boughton Monchelsea climb the ragstone ridge above the Weald. Boughton Monchelsea Place and Linton Park are two of the notable country houses of the area. Houses range from stone cottages to modern closes.

Sutton Valence and the ridge
Sutton Valence stands on the greensand ridge with a castle ruin and a school. The views are wide and the lanes quiet, which makes properties feel safe but also leaves them isolated. We recommend cameras with decent night vision and a light over the front door.
